Was that fresh-churned butter really as good as I remember?
“Television tube testers? I bet you zapped your feet with the shoe store X-ray machine, too.”
don’t remember for sure, but don’t think so. i know from wiki they were around when i was a child, but i grew up in the deep south, which was at the tail end of the chain for fancy things like that, and anyway our family usually shopped in bargain basements (literal ones in those days) for kids’ clothing and shoes, so probably dodged a bullet there ... however, i have a REALLY vague memory of wanting to stick my feet in one one time, and my mother refused to let me saying it was unhealthy ...
I go to my computer and the on line pharmacy operated by my insurer. Scripts are refilled and I receive by mail in a few days. Actually I am advised that my 90 day supply is in need of renewal and then renew.
When the Script runs out, I get a notice to renew. I go to my Dr’s web site and request renewal. In week or so I get the meds.
My BIL is a pharmacist and opened his small pharmacy but closed it. Absent a lot of retail crap, he could not generate enough sales. Grocery stores learned that they could do the job an secure a thin margin.
