Things to consider before we get hysterical
#1 Coronavirus has been around for decades. I know this because a friend of mine went down to Tijuana and was drinking the local beer and got involved with a prostitute and came back with it. He said that's what he was drinking and she gave him the virus.
#2 Now I'm not a doctor BUT when I was a kid I had this Hasbro product called "Operation" in which you got a buzz if you did the operation wrong. You know what? I got it right the first time so that should count for something.
Now you add it all up and what does it mean? I don't know but I learned you don't eat the fish on the plane from watching Airplane. I hope this helps.

Preparedness of the 2019-nCoV outbreak
2019-nCoV may be about to become a global epidemic
Self-sustaining human-to-human spread is already present in all major Chinese cities
Seeding outside mainland China and subsequent local establishment may become inevitable, unless some or all of the following interventions are deployed quickly
Substantial, draconian measures limiting population mobility should be taken immediately
Cancellation of mass gatherings, school closures and instituting workfrom-home arrangements
Should containment fail and local transmission is established, mitigation measures during previous major outbreaks, e.g. SARS, MERS or pandemic influenza could serve as a useful reference template
Regions with the closest travel links with major Chinese ports, preparedness plans should be readied for deployment at short notice

“...killed at least 81 people and infected more than 2,800.”
It’s far, far worse than that. Count on it.

Mobile crematoriums I suspect. More so than landfills.
Theres only so many of those available (learned during the avian flu that killed tens of millions of chickens and turkeys years ago).

Still waiting to hear what other ethnicities have contracted the disease.
We are not getting much information on the people in other countries other than they had traveled to China.
I have a blood disorder that is often seen in Asians. Does that make me more susceptible since I Have that genetic weak link seen in their population....that sort of thing should be watched.
And since that same disorder in seen in Greeks, will they be more susceptible. ..and so on.
Not really thinking about my particular disorder..just that genetics could play a role on who gets it and how serious it becomes.

I watched a video last night from a link on FR:
https://www.liveleak.com/view?t=aNLJk_1580091920
It paints a dire picture of the city of Wuhan's survival. It is normally a city of 11 million people but apparently 5 million of them left when the virus was discovered. That still leaves 6 million people who need to eat.

According to their own numbers the death rate is around 3%. I suspect this to change.
