It’s time for New York City Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza to go. Actually, it was time for him to go last year, when he was caught hiring a friend with a financial stake in a company that did business with the Department of Education. Or even earlier, when he declared war against Asian-American parents who objected to his anti-Asian school-integration schemes.
But now that Carranza has directly insulted parents, he really needs to go. He should resign — or Mayor de Blasio should fire him.
The last straw should have been Carranza storming out of a meeting with parents concerned about violence at their local middle school.
A shocking video taken at a once-highly regarded middle school in Bayside, Queens, MS 158, showed a 14-year-old girl beating on a younger girl while teachers made limited attempts to stop the brutality. As The Post has reported, this wasn’t the first major incident at the middle school in the last year; it came in addition to two instances of alleged sexual assault.

But at one point, and this was later on, he told reporters that white folks are OVER stopped by the police, if one looks at crime stats.
That’s a man who once had a grasp on reality, even if tenuous at that point...and then lost it.
De Blasio’s attitude seems to be, if you are dumb enough to send your pitiful spawn to a public school in New York City, you deserve this kind of treatment. Suck it up, cupcake.
These liberals are insane. They are bringing Euro social policies to the US including lax law enforcement.

I’ve noticed liberals intentionally going through “public forum theater”. They hold a “town hall” but only accept scripted questions from their chosen select, and that shuts out everyone else. That’s mere show. The worse fraud is when they hold secret stakeholder meetings that the public almost never finds out about until after the fact or stock public events with their liberal nonprofit allies to dominate the question/answer periods with.
DumblASSio was fortunate to find another fellow commie for his schools Chancellor; someone for whom race, diversity, equality, etc. are also dearly held raisons d'être. For SJW hardliners like them, schools exist in order to transmit their twisted views on these subjects much more than they exist to teach math, history, language arts or science. It was like two sickos finding one another. Carranza is qualified to lead one of the biggest school systems in the country (perhaps the biggest) like Joe Biden is qualified to sign up with Mensa. He should have been fired a year ago, but I'd settle for right now. The Asian kids are basically propping up the still pathetic stats for the city schools and this imbecile is doing his best to alienate them for the sake of his commie principles, proven not to work.
