A group of air passengers from Shanghai have refused to board the same plane with tourists from Wuhan after allegedly noticing them secretly taking anti-fever medicine in the airport, according to reports.

The drama reportedly took place yesterday in Japan as the two rivalling groups were ready to go home from Chubu Centrair International Airport near the city of Nagoya.

It is said the protesting Shanghai travellers, around 70 of them, demanded the airline bar 16 Wuhan residents, fearing that they might spread the coronavirus to the others. The stand-off led to a five-hour delay to the two-hour flight.

The unidentified teacher living in Wuhan said she had been in contact with the British authorities who informed her that while she could return to the UK, her husband, who has a UK visa, would not be allowed to because he is a Chinese national. It is understood that this was a result of restrictions imposed by China, rather than the UK. As a result, she has decided to remain in China with her husband.

The airlines have spread this all over the planet from China, after they knew the obvious risks.

The Chinese economy is going to take a very big hit.

Along with that - Xi Jinping and his cohorts are going to use this to “readjust” the Chinese populations expectations (and their own propaganda) about Chinese economic growth. Most thinking people imagined that the 6% growth figure was BS, and it was becoming obvious. Now they have a great political event and cover to readjust everyone’s expectations - and rally behind CCP rule.

How deadly is this Corona virus? I heard some guys on TV say it’s a threat to people with depressed immune systems, the elderly, and a similar risk which we all have to various influenza outbreaks.

But they said that while it’s a serious outbreak of disease, it’s not going to be deadly to the vast majority of us.

The difficulty is that symptoms of Coronavirus can look exactly like symptoms of the flu or even your common cold.

I often need a decongestant or some vitamin C during a typical week. I’ve often had sinusitis to some degree ever since my late teens. It doesn’t mean I’m SICK-sick.
Tricky sinuses run in the family. That was not a pun.

Not enough known. If the cytokine storm is a big issue then normal health people do have something to worry about. Your body kicks into high gear to fight the infection..you get pneumonia and sepsis and your dead in a few days.

Lived it. At the beginning you have no idea that mild flu symptoms is going to kill you a few days later. Doctor’s have no idea unless they do a blood test...and unless you are in the ER you won’t have the blood test back in time

IF the airlines didn't take appropriate steps to protect their employees there will be some serious work comp issues to contend with.

It will just be expensive.

And if the ICU is full of pneumonia patients you’d better not have a heart attack, stroke, or car accident.

It will also seriously disrupt our supplies of medical stuff. Like antibiotics, heart pills, blood pressure pills, etc.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This particular virus (Novel Coronavirus) is contagious 2-5 days PRIOR to getting any symptoms, including a fever, so the current screening of people for fevers is not effective to contain the spread/contagion.
