Do not doubt for one moment that they view White/Christian/Second Amendment supporters as the enemy to be neutralized. Remember when the obammy administration ordered so many firearms? Was it to protect them from the White Uprising which never happened?
They want to take guns from non-violent people (us) and leave them in the hands of violent individuals.
“That is normal to scout a rally/meeting place out before having an event.”
Maybe, but it’s also normal for terrorists to scout out public buildings and places where large gatherings are going to happen before having one of their own “events”.
What are the cops supposed to do? Not investigate something suspicious because people might get offended?
Bullcrap. They drove 100 miles to come tell him “we’re watching you”. And if you are bored, retired and whatever, there isn’t anything wrong with the citizen going there to see the layout so he knows what to expect, and if trouble starts where he can hide and how he can escape.
“You’re going to spend half a day driving a hundred miles to walk around a rally site days before the scheduled event? OK, if you say so.....”
Some people that don’t go to work, like to go to town sometimes. He was probably excited about the issue and the rally, and also being aware because antifa was rattling the cage, the Governor was treating the protesters like terrorists, etc. Some people don’t like to be sheep and just trust the organizers have it right. He may have arrived and saw the fences or preps and decided he didn’t like what he saw.
“He was a participant, not an organizer.”
Apparently, you have more data on this video then I have. Where does it state he was a participant? Do you have another source that gives more context?
I am assuming he is part of a group that is going to there.
If I was the organizer or assign the task, I would scout out an area out.
“What are the cops supposed to do? Not investigate something suspicious because people might get offended?”
Note: I do not know this guy background
If you have no criminal background, no documented mental health issues or track record, why would the police officer drive 100 miles just to talk to you?
I would have not lectured the police officer; he is just doing a job. When you try to lecture, they could have misinterpreted that as threat. You do have the right, not to talk to a police officer.
I would have just told him to go away. If they had a warrant, I would have called my lawyer.
“He was probably excited about the issue and the rally, and also being aware because antifa was rattling the cage”
Very true, I was thinking this is the same reason he went up there. I would have scouted the area with google maps.
>>They were simply doing their job.<<
Didn’t work at Nuremberg. Won’t work now. No free passes.
I`ll bite.
“Its a free country the man can walk around on public property ANYWHERE HE DAMN PLEASES.”
Grow up. If I walk around military bases taking pictures I can expect someone to come have a friendly chat with me about it. This is the post 911 world. Suspicious behavior should not be ignored.
Shoot as the knees.
“If you have no criminal background, no documented mental health issues or track record, why would the police officer drive 100 miles just to talk to you?”
If you do something suspicious, like lurk around the area where there is about to be a big public event, with no apparent purpose, then that’s enough reason for police to want to talk to you.
If they had decided not to, and the guy had turned out to be a terrorist, everyone would be up in arms that the police didn’t follow up on the lead.
“If I walk around military bases taking pictures I can expect someone to come have a friendly chat with me about it. ...”
But he wasn’t at a military base, we was downtown banging on pillars. Visiting him was basically a way to say “We’re watching you”.
With that being said, I want to know if he drove 100 miles each way to “check out pillars” then go home? Or did he stay at a hotel and was simply walking around town the day before checking everything out....
It was in the written narrative that was provided by the wife who posted the video where she also identified the LEO's as being one capital policeman and the other being a state policeman.....
Good rule of thumb:
Nobody from law enforcement should EVER be allowed to enter your home without a warrant.
Don’t talk to them either. Particularly the FBI. You’re just setting yourself up for a process crime prosecution.
