There go the property taxes.
When I lived in Michigan our supposedly Republican Governor Engler cut a deal. A 50% increase in the state sales tax, in exchange for a reduction in property taxes.
We got the sales tax increase. The property taxes however just kept going up and up.
NEVER trust any deal with a Democrat.

Luckily both houses of the Michigan legislature are Republican controlled. Her speech is a waste of time.

I heard a preview this a.m. - that was plenty.

I wonder if she’s gonna breathlessly whisper “In five years, you’re gonna be blown away” like the Governess before her, Jenny Grandstand said?
Well, she was right. I lost my 18 year job. As my family drove out of Michigan with all of our stuff in a moving van, I had big signs tapes to the back of the cars that read “Another Michigan family blown away. Thanks Jenny.”
