Let Chris Pratt or Bradley Cooper be the new Jones, and let James Cameron direct it. This franchise is a gold mine yet Hollywood has only made 1 picture of it since 1989. This could have been, in terms of a movie franchise, what James Bond is now.
Pratt seems to always have a lot of irons in the fire. No doubt there will be a GOTG 3, and he’s also looking to develop in and star in an ongoing tv series:
