Exactly!
Isn't a jury supposed to vote on the evidence when coming to a guilty or not guilty vote?
Sorry, Mike Lee voted to acquit Trump, as did all of the other LDS reps in the house which you didn’t list.
I like Trump, and I’ll vote for him again .... but I DO NOT think he’s a godly man.
Having differences with someone morally but approving of the direction they are taking the country in is.... frankly, political reality.
He’s certainly an embarrassment.
Broken clock Mormons.
That list of people I provided from the House and Senate consistently failed at nearly the rest of bills before Congress Trump or the Republican party needed help on to move the county forward.
I would be interested to know the actual list of recent Mormons in the US House and Senate, though. I got my information from a newspaper site and another that may not have been complete.
I share your faith, and am similarly disappointed in Mitt Romney’s vote to remove the president from office. You’re concerned that in so doing, it will paint all LDS as petty and anti-conservative. I would not worry about it so much, I think most (although not all) people who think about this are smart enough to realize that Mitt Romney is his own man, and doesn’t speak for all other Mormons. Mike Lee didn’t vote to convict, nor did Mike Crapo. Tom Udall did vote to convict, although he’s a democrat. But other religions face the same thing, there are plenty of Catholics and Protestants in both parties. And all of the Jewish senators currently serving in the Senate are democrats, except for Bernie Sanders, who is listed as independent, and they all voted to convict. I certainly would not judge all Jewish Americans as being petty and anti-conservative based on the actions of the Jewish senators now serving.
According to this post, only 11 Mormons were in elected US office when Trump was running:

I would have to say that list I provided has to be close to reality, but Im open to being more off from it than I currently understand.
Do note I have no issue with you. I have had an excellent coworker for years who is Mormon and he is a decent man, but he has incredible issues with ever coming down on a side of an issue, because he sees it from both sides.
The rest of us do, as well, but we choose the right one.
This appears to be ingrained in the vast majority of Mormons in US office, which I represent in that list. Even when having good intentions, they cant do right in any consistent, repeatable, moral fashion with integrity.
Its a sorry insight into elected Mormons, which allows us to see the Mormon norm.
I believe that Romney will change parties and jump in the Democratic race for President.
He could well end up going down in history as the only man to lose the presidential race under both parties.
Rut row!!!
Personally I don’t think you are on the right path....FReind.
“...you have painted all LDS people as petty and anti-conservative...”
Remember that the next time y’all vote.
Don’t feel bad. I’m Jewish. At least most Mormons vote conservative. They were fooled by Romney just like I was. I just got back from a ski trip in Salt Lake City. Very clean vibrant city. I felt safe walking around at night. There are some homeless but nothing like Sacramento. There are signs at nearly every street corner in SLC advising people not to give money to panhandlers. Instead they provide a link to a list of homeless organizations. Such a simple but great idea. Why can’t cities in California do this? Instead liberals want to enable bums.
“I certainly would not judge all Jewish Americans as being petty and anti-conservative based on the actions of the Jewish senators now serving.”
Welcome to the FreeRepublic. There are plenty of self-righteous Mormon-haters here.
You have no understanding of the confirmation which God gives to those who seek to do his will.
Sorry, but not pleasing you is OK with me.
So what is your beef? That I worship Almighty God in the name of Jesus Christ? That I try to be honest in all of my dealings? That I try to treat my fellowmen as I desire to be treated by them?
Sorry ... but I don’t see much that God would not be pleased with.
And you don't understand there was no Word's after God's Word.
Joseph Smith..was a con man, and a thief. Not unlike Willard.
I know...you won't understand...not many Mormon's do....
Good luck..........
Then the LDS people have to decide what side they are on.
It looks like Freeper Teppe has done so.
