Simple. Trump properties are corporate entities, not personal fiefdoms. They have personnel to pay and properties to maintain. They have to cover those costs to remain solvent.

Trump isn’t taking his salary. It’s petty to assume he’s trying to get rich on bed nights for Secret Service agents.

Wrong. Read the constitution. It is required that the President gets a salary. However, it is true that PDJT is donating his "salary" to non profits. AND you can bet, not like other politicians, it is not his own non-profit but a legit 501c3/4.
