    thats pretty cool.
During our one and only visit to Hawaii, we went to an office building to hear a time share spiel. The said we would get an Italian lunch. We got a cold sandwich and chips.
Long story short, the guy said look at the view out of this window. I could see a marina and he said that’s where the opening scene of Gilligans Island was filmed, where the SS Minnow was leaving port. I could see the whole scene after he said that. The building we were in was also used for the office scenes of Hawaii 5 O

He was Jewish, Immigrated to the United States and served in the Air Force.
He lost family in the Holocaust.

    That site also had the Andy Griffith town set which was Atlanta in Gone with the Wind and also used in an episode of Star Trek. F-Troop was filmed there too. Many many shows.
