If the Republican Party wants long-term to become the dominant party in America, indeed if it wants to even survive as a coherent and effective political organization, it must continue the Trump programs. That means it must shed itself of the parasitical establishment swamp dwellers and attach itself to Reagan Democrats on social and opportunity issues but not on redistribution issues.
If the Democrats want to become the dominant party, they must avoid the temptation to sell out to oligarchs and turn away from cultural Marxism. They must embrace patriotism and eschew tribalism. They must abandon their whole culture that has been polluted by Critical Theory. I think this is an unrealizable commitment because it violates the fundamental animating force of the Democrat party, the accumulation of power to play God.
The danger is the Republicans will continue on as they have been with the Bushes, the Romneys, the McCains, the Ryan's, the Boeners and the McConnells always betting they will somehow stay relevant because enough of the electorate gets it that the Democrats cannot restrain their immoderate quest for complete power and a sufficient number of voters will hold their nose out of fear of Democrats and vote Republican.
I fully agree... We must keep believing that the majority of Americas are still honest hard working folk who love their kids, their God and their country... If that isn't true anymore, and California is the new prototype of what America should be, then the hell with it.. Let the muslims and the commies have it.. It wouldn't be long before the Chinese would find the idea of a "Robert Mugabe" with 10,000 nuclear weapons to be total unacceptable and would put an end to the situation...
Great post!
