A twitter link a few threads back was from a nurse on how, if at all, healthcare workers were being trained. Most every reply was they hadn’t been trained.
Same as when obama brought in Ebola patients. No training.

LOL, true. However, people still need nutrition, and if they go several weeks without meat (or one heck of a lot of vitamin supplements), they’ll be hurting big time.

it’s been a month for some. Saw another video of a car taking out the entire front gate of their compound. I doubt these individuals will ever be seen again, but people can’t take isolation. Especially a society that’s elbow to elbow in a city of 20mil and used to constant visual and audio input. Now, silence. Every week they hear, next week. Then the next week, next week. It rings hollow. From leaving every 2 days to go to the grocer, where nobody is speaking to each other, to three days, to, in some cases, zero days - with food delivered by bucket hauled up from a balcony. Not even so much as half-hour a day to walk around your building or do something other than pace the floor.
Remember, saving face is what matters, and they need to keep the R0 below 1 in order to justify having the masses go back to the factories.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Ministry of Transport revealed that there are still 160 MILLION workers that need to travel back to their cities for work and cannot travel. That is nearly the entire US workforce.
Let that sink in.
So the CCP is trying to tell the world not to worry using paid trolls who scrub negative articles (and post in forums like this) to shape a positive view of their containment attempt. While 400 million people are on lockdown.
No sane person can accept a single statistic from the CCP. The Chinese medical people in Wuhan know the truth, and we are never going to hear that truth.

China was at one time the largest economy in the world, a millennium or 2 back. That is what they want again, and that is why they were working on a virus which would spread fast and demolish economies of their competition in a short time. This virus was their secret weapon, because it does not show up on radar and there is no nuclear blast needed.
But the virus got out by accident by someone working in the lab, and Chicoms tried to hide it and shove it under the rug but that has now backfired.

This suggests that the genetic factor is less significant than the environmental, or that they actually got people out ahead of the general outbreak.

Cruise ships, airliners and even Hotels need viral filtration in their central air systems. Have no idea how you solve the buffet problem. For all we know the secondary infection that seems to be very lethal in coronavirus victims may be something else leaked out of that lab.
I have done 2 cruises on that Diamond Princess ship, and it is a beautiful ship, especially loved the ice skating shows since the ship has a large ice skating rink.
Booked on a cruise beginning this weekend, and will pack a few face masks haha at the risk of looking stupid.
