Pete played the cool customer Obama-clone approach tonight and I think he set himself up for 2024 or 2028.

Amy is toast. Bloomberg with the NDAs is toast. Biden is done.

They have NO candidate. Open convention.

Agreed on most of that but Pete -> I agree that as a performer his can be impressive to some, but he's a smarmy little ... well bitch ... who thinks he's smarter than everyone, when really he's just repeating the same sing-songy rhythm in every sentence without saying anything. In some ways he's like George Will ... entire sentences designed to signal his intelligence without saying anything.

It's hard for me to judge what a democrat will like, and they have liked a lot of whackos, but I think Pete will not go far. He disdains everyone, including his possible voters - he seems to disdain the stupidity of all of mankind and as a consolation to himself has decided he can at least impress and therefore lead them (or be followed -> which are two different things.) Obama at least seemed to be able to hide his perceived separateness from (elevation above) and disdain for his followers. Pete doesn't even seem to relate to anyone. He just churns out sentences - IQ-signaling rather than virtue signaling. God help us if Lizzy the Virtuous had a kid by Pete the I'mSmart. That kid would not just get bullied, he'd be mobbed and torn to pieces in grade school.

Anyway - not disagreeing with you much -> I just think Pete's a novelty who'll be soon forgotten or maybe be like a Ted Cruz or Rand Paul ... a quirky sometimes contributor to his party from the sidelines, insufferable not just to many voters but his colleagues too.
