That was the funniest scene in the movie - “You got money for that f____ing commercial but you don’t got my money!” as De Niro has the phone cord wrapped around his neck and his hair piece is coming off.

I was at @ Trixie's in Hells Kitchen (NYC) for Amateur Night in the late 80's when he showed up and turned the lyrics of "Wild Thing by Tone Loc, (which was a real popular song at the time) to "Bald Thing."
A few people noticed him when he walked in and he was just hanging out and having a drink and then when it was his turn to sing he hopped on stage and had the place jumping and tore the place up. He did such a good job that people demanded an immediate encore - it was a fun evening, RIP.

100% of black men with no hair look cool. 50% of white men with no hair look like they murdered their parents.
...and if his joke switched races, he’d be out of work.

He invented an expensive hair hat that anchored to what real hair you had left.

His commercials were unavoidable. Part of a special club..........Ralph Williams, Cal Worthington, Earl Scheib, at least in SoCal that were ubiquitous on the non major networks.
