After being pummeled by opponents in his 2020 debate debut, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg put his video team to work Thursday with a misleading mashup.
In a video tweeted from Bloomberg's account, a sequence where he asserts he's the only candidate on stage to ever start a business is followed by clips of each candidate in awkward silence.
Filling almost the entirety of the video, the silence makes it appear as though Bloomberg dumbfounded his opponents by touting his business record.
However, in the debate a back-and-fort between the candidates proceeded as normal after Bloomberg made his point. The tongue-tied shots of opponents in the clip tweeted from Bloomberg's account were looped together from disparate points throughout the evening.

He did the same thing with Trump.

What is so funny, can you even imagine a democrat coming out and saying what JFK said back then?
But when Trump did that with the SOTU address, liberals demanded the internets take it down!
He really was centrist. There was such a thing back then.
There were enough shots of the crowd that would have made for an accurate and even poorer image for the democrats.
When that little black girl and her mom found out she was getting a scholarship for the school of her choice - both of them beamed and hugged each other - they were so happy!
And then the TV showed the democrats - sitting on their hands. I was really hoping the little girl was going to look at her mom and say “Mom - who are those people, and why don’t they want me to go to a good school?”
That’s absolutely wonderful. Mini-Mike schooled the children.
Well, it’s not like he’s going to put out a video that says “They whupped my mini-ass but good...”
We will know in a few months.
Seems he hires idiots like himself.
Bloomberg is a snake. But he is able to buy a lot of people.

He is so out of his league.
It is a sad day when people in our country actually BELIEVE what they see on social media. Didn’t anybody ever explain to them that Hollywood is fake?
Social media merely allows everyone to be a Hollywood director. We, as individuals, need to be able to use critical thinking skills.
The DNC should ban all boxes for the height challenged on stage because with Biden sniffing around someone could fall off and break a hip.
Goebbels is probably spinning in his grave right now, butt-hurt about being born at the wrong time.
Bloomberg’s team couldn’t score a political touchdown in this game until after everyone else went home.
But there really was a silence when he said that. Not a long one, but... definitely none of the others on the stage had anything to say at that.
