I watched the series a while back. I thought it was pretty good. They could have done a better job of picking actors who resembled their characters tho.
Which episode is on? The Steel Giants. The Railroad Giants, The Oil Giants?
One thing which intrigues me is all these foundations started by very conservative men like Carnegie and Ford were later taken over by extreme leftists who used the large endowments to push liberal causes.

Not just a few really rich folks. The title of the series is wrong and insulting.
If it is the same as one I saw some time ago it was very anti capitalism.
I’ve watched it. Loved it.
I also watched the series about the builders of the giant food companies, The Food That Built America I think it was. Very informative.
From CW Post, Clarence Birdseye, the Kellogg brothers, Milton Hershey, Marjorie Post, HJ Heinz and others on up to Harlan Sanders and Ray Kroc.
I have TMTBA: The Frontiersmen recorded to watch.
