If this goes bad enough could it take down Corona beer? Obviously, it doesn't cause the virus, but do people want to be reminded of this name?

I was never a potential market for a digital wallet system.

My mother was a big fan. Cigarettes, gin and tonics, “Days of Our Lives”, and ayds. The happy life of a housewife in the 70s.

My Mom used those candies. She also used a low cal ice cream made by Metra-Cal. The chocolate was a strangely bright color of brown. We kids were not to eat it.

Metrecal, the chalky 60s meal replacement shake that started an unfortunate trend

The Wikipedia article said it lost popularity when it was linked to deaths.

No, I didn’t want the ice cream after seeing that loud color.
It didn’t even look like food. More like ‘something from a Baby’.

From a baby or for a baby?

That product description sounds a lot like
Ensure. Many folks who cannot eat solid food will drink a can of Ensure. I hear it helps to keep the weight on.
I never needed such help.

About two years ago they started coming out with all these brands of lo-cal ice cream. They look weird and taste weird. I had a friend who was eating them nonstop for six months, then never touched them again.

I also see they have a gay ice cream brand at the market. Not sure what that means.

My mom was the same but in the 1960s.

My childhood was idyllic.

I briefly worked at a grocery store as a kid. I remember one day this new product arrived. It was a chocolate coated cookie that looked like some cross between an Oreo and a Twix bar.

The name on the package (and I swear I am NOT making this up.....) was NOOKIES!

Needless to say that provided endless hours of snickering and guffawing from customers. We never got a follow-up shipment.

I remember Ayds too! I could eat half a box at one sitting. On a similar note, my sister once taped a piece of paper saying “WILLPOWER” to a box of Chiclets.

The Chevrolet Nova: a great name in 1960s America, not so great in Mexico (no va = no go).
