$4.99 get you a 3 lb chicken that’s cold by the time you get home.

Walmart has 10 lb. bags of leg quarters for $4.94. It’s takes all of 90 seconds to sprinkle lemon pepper on them, put them in the oven at home and they’re piping hot at dinner time. No dried out breast meat or bony wings and saving your wallet more than $11.

Tip for saving $ on hot wings. When roasting whole chickens, cut off the raw wings and continuously add more to a wing baggie in the freezer. Eventually, there will be enough for a batch of hot wings. Hot wings are much more tasty and not dried out as when roasted.

Actually never had a problem with cold roasted chicken, I’m just minutes from the supermarket and when I get home it usually doesn’t have much time to get cold!
