This virus is the best argument against Globalism we are likely to see. The usual suspect are whining about how nationalism won’t stop the virus; well, neoliberalism isn’t offering any answers.

The impact on the stock market should give the Democrats a big opportunity, but their candidate has dementia, and they don’t have any answers.

Maybe one of the good things to come out of this is that the people in the US return to a time when they become more self sufficient.

When I grew up in the 60’s & 70’s, everybody in the suburbs had a garden for fresh vegetables. Now, it is so easy to get fresh produce at the grocery store, it does not make sense.

In 1990 I went to Switzerland. When you take the train outside of the cities like Geneva or Zurich you will see garden plots along the sides of the tracks near the train stations outside the city. I inquired about that to the others on the train. They said people from the city, rent a plot of land to grow their own food. They take the train out every day to tend their plot.
