The month number is ballpark correct for Ohio.
But that means 15,000 critical hospital cases—which means Ohio health care goes to third world...
That would also mean the state would be cut up in regions by military quarantines.

I am seeing some confusing press discussion about military style quarantines.
The purpose is to protect the health care system and limit the incoming critical cases.
That is the reason.

China, as a totalitarian regime used its military to forcibly displace people in order to quarantine them. Are you suggesting the US do that - and how would they? Martial Law?

Frankly, it won’t work here. There’s no infrastructure. Our transportation system is too … ‘free-oriented’.

The purpose of a quarantine is not to displace people but to keep them where they are!
well, so far, the Natl Guard in NY, are cleaning schools, handing out 3-day box lunches at elementary schools for kids who normally eat lunch at school, and providing assistance in getting the elderly to the pharmacy or delivering rx’s or some such. People are allowed in and out of the containment area, (unless anyone has heard about roadblocks??) just no groups allowed.
Well, if we were assholes to you guys, the way you have been to us...you would be wishing worse on us.
