Place is empty, so a couple who just got off a cruise plunk down next to the only other occupied booth. Idiots.

The place is very small and there are only four booths along the wall by the front window. But they did NOT go sit in the back room which is maybe 30 feet away.

Yes, idiots. Of course, why are they out of their home in the first place?

I've had that happen on a dual-lane highway with two lanes in each direction, virutally empty except for me and one other car—which won't stop trying to ride my tail, cruise beside me, or pass and pull in right in front of me no matter how many times I correct for it. Some people just can't bear to be alone.

I will never understand that. People sit right next to you in an empty restaurant. People park right next to your car in an empty parking lot. I am always trying to keep a private space around me where possible. It is just more peaceful and less hassle that way. I think most people behave that way, but you have some people who will sit right next to you in an empty building. I don’t get it. Bizarre behavior.
