Coronavirus - why Italy?
AltNewsMedia ^ | 3/12/20 | Unknown

As the impact of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) continues to grow, nowhere in Europe has been more affected than Italy, and in particular northern Italy.

With a complete lockdown announced by the Italian Government, everyday life for Italians has ground to a halt as the rise in cases of Wuhan-Flu continues.

This has raised the question of why Italy has suffered more than other countries to date?

AltNewsMedia has a theory as to what may lie behind this.

Many Italians in Northern Italy have sold their leather goods and textiles companies to China. Italy then allowed 100,000 Chinese workers from Wuhan and Wenzhou to move to Italy to work in these factories, with direct flights between Wuhan and Northern Italy. This continued post outbreak, so is it mere coincidence that Northern Italy is now Europe’s hotspot for Corona Virus?

The murky reality is that the EU turned a blind eye to vast numbers of illegal Chinese immigrants working in Italian factories. The ‘Open Borders’ EU will of course try to keep this under wraps, but reality is, the Chinese Mafia operate Italian textile factories with tens of thousands of illegal immigrants shipping ‘made in Italy’ goods into China and elsewhere.

Why didn’t the EU act to stop corrupt Italians taking backhanders from the Chinese mafia?

Why is Boris and our Scientific community still happy to allow Italian flights into the UK?

This is an area that logically should be front and centre of investigations into how the virus spread into Europe, but we suspect it will overlooked.

The whole scenario is a disaster for the EU and their open borders narrative, but as the 4th biggest economy in the EU this whole situation with Italy could accelerate the collapse of the whole EU project.

I had wondered about the strange leap of the pox from China to Italy and Iran, of all places.

There had been speculation about human trafficking ex-China as one cause, now I come across this and suddenly it all makes sense.

Huzzah! for those open borders!!

“this whole situation with Italy could accelerate the collapse of the whole EU project.”

Looking at the CV19 situation in other EU countries, I’d say that ship has already sailed.

The article is correct EXCEPT for the The ‘Open Borders’ EU will of course try to keep this under wraps,

The 'open borders' is within EU countries -- not with non-EU countries.

So if you go from China to the EU, you need to go through border control. But if you are a British citizen, you don't need to go through border control at Copenhagen, for instance

The rest of the article is known -- Milan has thousands of Chinese workers in its textile industry and they, coming back after chinese new year celebrations brought the coronavirus

however:

1. The virus then spread because Milan has a number of old people

2. when the Italian government told children to not go to school, they took the opportunity to go to discos, congregate etc. spreading the virus

the dead are mostly old "white" folks

Every time I see something from a source like this that appears to just be Yet Another Blog I look at their “About Us” page to see if there’s any reason to think they have any credibility or know what the hell they’re talking about.

In this case all they tell you is:

“AltNewsMedia provides an alternative to the fake news mainstream media narrative.”

Critical thinkers gather information from various sources and weight it according to credibility. While this is an interesting theory the weight is low because they do nothing to establish any credibility. So I’ll be waiting to hear this from other sources before accepting it as true.

Nah, this has put a stop to people traveling between countries but not goods. The rest of the EU project - namely common standards, accepted rules etc. make business easier between countries - kind of like how it is easy to do business between Texas and North Dakota as everyone follows some common rules.

It is a harsh blow to the EU project but not the collapse. Not yet

Italy stopped having kids 40 years ago....they are a nation of seniors. Nature finds a way to handle nations full of seniors.

“Milan has thousands of Chinese workers in its textile industry” interesting, regular economics would suggest that bringing in Poles, Hungarians, Bulgarians etc. would have made more sense. But then, who said these were “workers” rather than indentured servants?

Exactly - the article gives no proof that there are Italian mafia running things IN THE NORTH. There are many Chinese workers - but they are legal. The thing people don’t tell you is that it’s really, really hard to be illegal in the EU unlike the USA — you need your identity card to do nearly anything. And there are fewer livable jobs that you can do as an illegal.

If someone has been to Italy recently, they would know.

Half the tourists at Vatican City are Chinese. Milan and Florence were jam packed with Chinese. It was shocking to me.

And they are the rudest, grossest people you could ever be in close quarters with.

They hack and spit everywhere. Even on the floors inside the chapel.

They stick a finger up one nostril and clear their noses out the other anywhere they happen to be.

They crowd into the same turn style with you, cutting lines everywhere.

They bump into on the sidewalk as they walk five abreast on sidewalks only wide enough for four.

Dirty, disgusting people.

Two reasons

1. the Milanese textile industry pre-dates the expansion of the EU in 2004 to Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria. The Chinese in the north date to the 80s or earlier

2. Poles, Hungarians and Bulgarians don’t have the textile history that the Chinese have.

That’s not completely true. There are also many Italians under 40 - but they moved out of Italy.

Why?

Because Italy limited hire and fire - since companies couldn’t fire easily, they stopped hiring. If you got a job, you were unfireable. But getting a job was close to impossible

A retired Army friend sent me the following today, along with the front of the book and the page with this paragraph circled in red. MOST interesting:

By Dean Koontz. A book entitled “The eyes of darkness.” Published in 1981. On page 312 it says:

“In around 2020, a severe pneumonia like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments. Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attacking again ten years later, then disappear altogether.”

What could go wrong?

It seems pretty obvious at this point that it is the “old” folks who need to be quarantined off until the young-in’s herd immunity is reached and a vaccine or two developed.

That and Italy-according to my best friend who took a trip there a couple years ago, is the most filthy place he has ever seen.

He is catholic, and of course he and his wife wanted to go see the Vatican.
