Extraordinary. I’m watching ‘The Hangover’ right now.
MGM will be fine, however employees will not. I’m concerned for small businesses, many will probably never recover and close for good.
I guess if their customers can’t figure out the danger of being in huge crowds with unknown people, the people running those operations will have to do it for them.

You know what...in doing my part to add to the hysteria of a virus that’s only killed 6,500 worldwide, I’m calling on all businesses, large and small to close down! This includes grocery stores and hospitals!
These weak pathetic temporary closures simply will NOT cut it!
Close everything down immediately! Are we that selfish to ask hospital workers and grocery store clerks to put themselves at risk? If we truly care, we’ll close everything down ASAP!
I’m also calling on our government to declare martial law, imposing strick penalties for any business attempting to stay open!
Also, make these closures permanent! Who knows what other virus is lurking waiting to kill us!
Rough for hourly workers.
Our small-town local casino is in the midst of changing signsthird owner in about 7 1/2 years. Parking lot is hardly ever full. Wonder if it will survive. Hasn’t closed yet, but expect things in the week(s) ahead.
Ha ha.
No big deal, we still have the stock market.
Over nothing. That’s the shame of it.
and some here can proudly say they took part in bringing down the economy.
oh wait I have to get back to burying the piles of corpses in the street in front of me.
See that’s what we be doing if this thing was deadly as heck.
I bet many many thousands had it and got better. What a shame this whole mess is
“The lights are going out in Las Vegas.”
Between MGM and Wynn both closing all their properties, Vegas is shut down. All schools shut too.
There is simply no reason to keep the lights on.
Vegas is going to dry up and be blown away by the hot desert wind.
There’s 2.5 million people in that valley, and the entire valley relies on tourism and gambling.
Hard choices are being made.
I just got back last night from a week in Vegas. There are a lot of people in town right now. Its going to be tough to get them all out.
almost like they planned it.....working like charm....
Was just there 2 weeks ago. Whod have thunk?
Looks like Randall Flagg and his gang are going to have the MGM Casino all to themselves.
Yep, the stock market reflects the economic hit.
