I find it funny how we are trusting store employees to sanitize a store. Even in ideal conditions it is almost impossible to clean a high traffic area. They would need to remove every item from the shelf, clean the outside of the item and the shelves themselves. This is just a feel good approach.
I was wondering the same thing about sanitizing a store. More importantly, what about the hands opening boxes, taking product out and stocking the shelves? Are they all gloved? How often are gloves changed? How are they doffed and discarded?
Ultra Violet Light kills the heck outta viruses.
UV treatment is simple and can even be done by a robot .... so most WalMart people should be competent enough.
1) UV the store
2) UV the products as they are unpacked (should be as simple)
3) Now the hard part .... UV the shoppers
Everybody goes home for a stiff drink, wild sex and a rising Trump economy !
Yeah, I would bet sanitizing is not happening.
Don’t worry about whether a store is “sanitized” or not.
All the stores are sending customers emails saying that they are deep cleaning and sanitizing every night. This is a PR attempt to reassure customers.
Two minutes after the stores are open they are totally un-sanitized.
If you go into a grocery store, any store, *you* are responsible to either wear gloves or wash your hands totally.
The only way to totally avoid this virus is to stay isolated in your home and wiping the surfaces around you.
I went in the local Wal-Mart this morning right after opening for car work. While waiting I heard one associate say to another that 17 called out sick. So this might have something to do with it. I don’t think they were sick. They probably just wanted to avoid the public.
EVERY company is instituting ‘feel good’ policies! Today, I went to 7-11 to fill my coffee cup. It should have been $1.05 CDN. Instead, I was told that I had to use a paper cup, at $1.85. Why would I want to touch a paper cup that someone else’s dirty paws may have been touching all over! Using MY cup, the only thing I touch is the button on the machine. I DO NOT HAVE TO touch ANYTHING ELSE!
The ‘brain trust’ at 7-11 MUST realize that there are LESS germs, viruses, and bacteria if people use THEIR OWN CUPS! Their ‘virtue signalling’ MAY COST LIVES!
They probably are to Sanitize self checkouts, pharmacy area, bathrooms, price check machines, counters.
You are correct. America is losing its soul as it is swinging a hammer trying to get the fly.
No problem removing every item from the shelves there are no items on the shelves!!!
Bitch bitch bitch - the stores will be cleaner than normal and maybe limiting some items will help those the locusts left hanging.
