Special Shopping Hours: 60 and older

They have implemented similar policies in the two stores near me (Smith's and Wal-Mart). 6-7 a.m. I think.

As an Old Fud myself, my thinking is that If I HAD to go, I'd rather mix in with the general population than a group of old people who have a higher risk of already being infected. Personally, I think this is overblown, but it doesn't hurt to be prudent.

As an aside, my semi-annual checkup at the VA was changed to a phone interview. They asked me if that was OK and I said yes as long as I had a blood test - I didn't want to go a full year before I had another one.

There is no evidence anywhere in the world of older people having a higher risk of being infected.

Maybe you are wrong on that. Those over 60 are probably scared to death because of the high death rate, aren't out partying and cavorting all over town, aren't going to work, and are probably somewhat self-isolated already.

OR, they could be part of a local nursing home weekly shopping trip group and they are all 100% infected. Just look for the nursing home bus in the parking lot. That'll be your tip-off.
