Exactly. I have lived much of my life with medical (doctors on the front lines and nurses..academic historians and the corporate executive world, and I can definitely tell you that deep state politics effects every institution which lives on years of being able to tell people what to do and when to do it. When you take doctors out of the medical environment and put them in charge of a bureaucracy, they become bureaucrats after years of holding those positions. I trust the scientist but I do not want him as my economist, my banker, my grocer, my farmer, my gardener, my pastor or priest or my hair stylist. Too many times, the political urge and the feeling of importance in men and women who have high degrees overwhelms actual common sense.
