I am not exactly a flubro. I am if the opinion that the cure we are enduring is worse than the disease.
I know it’s not the flu. I know those who get it down their lungs are in for a world of hurt. I just argue that the extremes we have gone to are not going to make much of a difference and will increase deaths by uncountable deaths of despair (like the german economic guy who just jumped in front of a train) and my neighbor whose throat biopsy has just been cancelled and my spouse whose long awaited oncology appointment was just massively delayed etc.
Poverty kills and our freedoms are going with it.
If one more person in American Samoa comes down with it, I will renounce my membership in the Fraternal Order of FluBros forever.

Intelligent people understand that the fear and hype, perpetrated by our Main Stream Media and its sycophants, have screamed of at the tops of their lungs, is not and will be not be worth the destruction of Western Civilization and its capitulation to Global Socialism. We are progressively abrogating cherished rights, freedoms, commerce and sovereignty in the face of this illness. We have been able to survive numerous other illnesses as a people without the destruction of our economy and way of life. Our Greatest Generation mobilized with many hardships to defeat our enemies in one great war as there fathers and grandfathers did in the previous war.
I have not been out of my house since March tenth and my wife has not been out of the house in months. I didn't hoard TP or anything else, as I regularly keep stocks of consumables habitually with bargain and bulk discount shopping.
All I have ever insisted on is the voice of reason with a positive outlook instead of the doom and gloom mindset that this virus is the next black plague.

Not even close. It is serious.
I hold that view but also remain skeptical of any response that is long on panic and short on cure or treatment. A virus doesn’t care if you hide in your house. It doesn’t get bored and move on to Rio for more excitement. Hide for a month or two, it will be waiting when you come out.
