Meanwhile, the same population groups are suffering badly from covid19; is there any connection?

/Tinfoil Hat on

Maybe they're just calling all colds and flu Covid-19 to bump up the numbers and justify the artificial hysteria and pandemic panic.

I imagine that a normal flu or cold which may or may not result in pneumonia would weaken the body's resistance to Covid-19.

Quite the opposite. A few short weeks ago, when COVID-19 testing was rare and stingy, doctors were told to test for influenza. If the patient was influenza positive, the patient was sent home without also testing for CoV. A few facilities were "permitted" to test for both. This is when many cases of dual influenza and CoV infections were identified.

This isn’t Red China and even there doctors tried to tell the truth. Do you believe these docs and nurses5 in ERs and ICUs are just reporting what they are told to report. If that were to be true this country is so far gone it would not be worth saving

No conspiracy , keep your tinfoil off for now!

My point was leading to the discussion of how the total number of deaths reach an endpoint of sorts- is that what’s happening?

So all the world is practicing better cold/flu hygiene in general, so those rates drop. Meanwhile, covid19 rates are rising ( what’s the connection, if any?). If good hygiene is slowing common cold/flu, why not Covid19? Or is that a product of lag time from beginning of better practices to incubation/symptoms etc?
