And a third element can now be added .... Is the COVID19 handle being placed on NORMAL Flu stats and being called a pan/epi demic ? ?

COVID-19 is not diagnosed without a positive test, and testing has been frugal in many locales. No way flu patients are tossed into the COVID-19 category to fluff stats.

In fact, it is suspected a substnatial number of patients diagnosed with influenza over the past two months:

1. tested negative for influeza A or B actually had COVID-19 before testing was available.

2. had both influenza and COVID-19. Once CoV testing was available, patients were positive for both CoV and influenza.

The epidemiologists are back-tracing serology tests to determine how many diagnosed influenza cases were actually CoV. This will take time.

Dying OF C-19 is pretty clear. But so is dying WITH C-19. In the latter case you have people with co-morbidities like diabetes and pulmonary issues - co-morbidities that they were living with until C-19 cake along and pushed them into an early grave.

As to flu being called C—9, that is unlikely. We have very good and plentiful tests for the flu, and flu-like symptoms with a positive flu diagnosis is nearly a sure sign of the Kung Flu. There is no confusing the two - it would have to be deliberate falsification of records, which is a bailable often enough.
