Howard county in Indiana did this and caught so much blowback that they just rescinded it, asking folks to do just one person/one cart
Get in, get out without dallying
Even this has exceptions -- my daughter is currently the "designated shopper" for the family. She is buying groceries for our 3-generation home, and also for my mom & step-dad who live nearby (mom is 92 & he has chronic low-grade leukemia) . My daughter has been using 2 carts so she can keep the purchases separate.
I saw a post earlier where they said they had been harassed in Target for buying printer ink & paper, which are "non-essential". Well, maybe so, but what if you are being asked (forced) to "work from home", and you don't have enough supplies to last during the shutdown? Anybody know where we can dredge up some old mimeograph machines??
