How’s it going?
Hi, Vision. What’s up with you?
My desert is blooming........
Yea, had rain lately?
Excellent! New grass is a lovely green. :-)
We’re fine. Keith is smoking a pork butt to make barbecue sandwiches for lunch tomorrow for him and his coworkers.
We’re doing fine, too.
Yea, had rain lately?
Evening, folks. Our illustrious Governor Ivey declared Battlestations yesterday @ 5 PM, so it’s probably dinner from the pantry tonight, save for a beer run to the corner. Walmart is all but closed here 24/7. Rumor Control has it that the local constabulary is writing traffic citations if anyone is caught on the streets horsing around for no good reason. I think I’ll put that to the test and see if KFC is open. A handicap placard hanging from the mirror can be a convenient Willy Wonka Golden Ticket when you need it. Other times, it’s useless to get a decent parking spot. Too many gimps in this town - I can’t get prime parking around here, and see people more able-bodied than me stealing my space. LOL Gina, Keith is doing what I told myself to do this evening, but I was too lazy to go get some chicken quarters at the store. Extra Crispy or a Big Mac may have to suffice. In lieu of that, I may just hickory/peachwood smoke some breast quarters tomorrow and throw a few ears of corn on the gas side.
Whatever you decide, have a good time of it, Viking! :-D
*chuckle* I decided not to tempt fate and ordered Papa John’s instead. I was only gone long enough to grab some Modelas and listen to the Indian guy at the convenience store go on a harangue about having to wear a mask and I beat it back here. Connie said, “You were only gone a minute. Did the cops turn you around and send you back?” LOL This is insane.
