Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean and her 8-year-old son drifted into the bay after paddling out in a canoe to retrieve a ball. Her body was recovered on Monday evening.

The body of one of two Kennedy family members who went missing last week when their canoe capsized in the Chesapeake Bay was recovered on Monday, the authorities said.

The Maryland Natural Resources Police said on Monday night that it had found the body of Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean, 40, a granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy. It said the search would continue for her son Gideon McKean, 8.

Ms. McKean’s body was recovered in 25 feet of water about two and a half miles south of her mother’s residence in Shady Side, Md., where the two family members set off in their canoe on Thursday, officials said.

“Sorry for their family’s loss but a soccer ball on open, choppy water”...

If the ball is moving AWAY from shore THAT ought to tell you something right there.

I was NEVER a big Kennedy fan, even when JFK got whacked. Even at the age of 12, I wondered about how his instant canonization, by the papers and TV, and this was in a Catholic city.

It was common, almost expected, to see pictures of Christ, JFK and MLK as sort of a mini-shrine, in living rooms, with last year's palm leaf, and a candle...

We have a boat in a protected harbor. When the wind blows there is chop in the harbor. We leave the kayaks and paddle boards tied up then. I just shake my head at idiots.

I’ve seen more than a few JFK shrines in homes growing up here in the Boston suburbs.
A few Elvis ones too....

She was a human rights lawyer and worked as an executive director at the Georgetown University Global Health Initiative. Umm...dies tragically during a global pandemic that the WHO tried to cover up. What exactly did she know? Notice how quickly everyone is just accepting that she was chasing a ball in a canoe.

Seeing the name again reminded me of KKT’s run for governor.

I have KKT to thank for my often used username.

"I pledge to you today that I will dedicate myself to make sure that every Marylander reaches her or his indispensable destiny," Townsend said, ad-libbing from handwritten notes. "I will do this . . . by making sure our citizens have the tools they need to make their dreams come true." May 6, 2002

She panicked and is a victim of the great Virus Panic of 2020. This whole affair is like the global warming panic, with crappy computer models and hysterical predictions.
Crappy modeling due to GIGO.....garbage in produces garbage out!

All dire predictions on deaths in America are being thrown out the window in the last few days. Fauci is an idiot but very popular. Thus Trump cannot dismiss him.

Cue Boston’ song “More Than a Feeling” and change the words to “More Than an Idiot”

The 2 docs, it’s obvious now.
FauxChi had emails:

Brix has this: “Birx’s husband, former Clinton advance man Paige Reffe” and this:

LIKE! The Conservative TreeHouse. I will check out both links. I thought Brix was on the level. She’s not a saboteur. Brix’s problem is she takes ever Fauci word as golden.

Trump said that if it were all up to Fauci this country would be shut down and isolating for a year. Fauci ignores all the economics of shutdowns and trashing our economy. Fauci gets a bullet proof Federal salary. His popularity and credibility ratings are high and higher than Trumps.

Prayers to the family. I’m not a Kennedy lover, but it is a tragedy.

A soccer ball is replaceable, a human life... We, sorry we are talking about Dems...
