What can/should Trump do?
My preference is immediately end the lockdown and fire Fauci and CDC says vulnerable should be careful and they might want to consider staying home. Reality is that he probably won’t do that because maybe people will panic.
Worst case is Trump says we need to listen to the medical experts and stay strong as a united nation to completely defeat this invisible enemy. He follows that speech up with a 3 month extension on the lockdown - an extension that he further extends out another 3 months.
Politics involves sausage making. What I think Trump is politically able to do, if it is handled correctly, is the following: 1. End the lockdown at the end of April 2. Extend a voluntary lockdown for the vulnerable another month 3. Ask congress to pass a grossly expensive law allowing those with complicating factors (diabetes, over 70, heart disease, etc.) to be entitled to unemployment insurance/free money payments for the next 6 months.

U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson “continues to improve,” his spokesman said Thursday, after spending a third night in intensive care with coronavirus.
Speaking to journalists, the spokesman also said Johnson had a good night and is “in good spirits.” The prime minister, who is currently at at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, has been receiving “standard oxygen treatment,” indicating that he is not on a ventilator.
Culture Minister Oliver Dowden earlier Thursday commented on Johnson’s condition, telling the BBC that Johnson is “stable, improving, sat up and engaged with medical staff,” adding: “I think things are getting better for him.”

We have to have REAL SCIENCE and double-blind studies for hydroxychloroquine and can’t listen to anecdotal studies - but social distancing is working (not after the first week, not after the 2nd week, not after the 3rd week... but maybe this week) because we’ve lowered our estimates about how many people are dying!

Second question - Covid infection is much less dangerous for the young than the flu. Covid is much less dangerous for infants than the common cold.
