Thanks for this recommendation, it looks great. Ill save it for Sunday afternoon.
Thank you, tomorrow is supposed to be nasty, this should help me out.
I hadn’t seen it in a while, I am watching it now...:)
Remarkable film...
;-)
'The Best Years of Our Lives' was a very important movie.
I watched the movie again last night...I love his character in that movie...:)
One of my favorite scenes is when Frederick March and Dana Andrews are in a drunken stupor passed out in the back of the car with their arms around each other, and as they drive away, Frederick March kind of opens his eyes and sees the hand of Dana Andrews around his neck that he has been nuzzling in his semi-stupor thinking it was his wife’s hand, and the confused look in his eyes is brilliant!
You’ll like Seabiscuit. Hoosiers (for the ??? time) and Breaking Away are on tap this afternoon and tonight for me. Waking Ned Devine tomorrow with something from Britain via Acorn TV tomorrow night.
Thank you rlomorel. Sounds like something everyone would like to see tonight.
we was it last night. Thanks.
we saw it last night. Thanks.
thank you for the recommendation
Golly, I’ve received so many recommendations! Thank you as well as everyone else! Hopefully, that’s enough to get us through this “stay in place” time.
The Highwaymen was great. Enjoyed seeing it. My father-in-law (died at the age of 99), who was working in the oil fields during that period of time, actually saw Bonnie and Clyde pull in to a country service station/store and said Clyde got out of the car to go into the store and Bonnie opened her door and put her right leg out on the ground, resting a rifle on her thigh ready to take on anyone who bothered them. They finished their business and then took off down the road.
Saw some of them on the list. Great list. Thanks
Yes, I think it will! LOL
FWIW, I think Ive watched The Longshot at least 100 times in the last ten years. It is one of my go to movies when I cant find anything else to watch. Try it.
I liked Seabiscuit too!
I like these threads...you can have a different opinion and someone will say “I didn’t really like it” instead of “WHY DON’T YOU GO BACK TO DU AND WATCH THEIR MOVIES YOU HILLARY CLINTON LOVING JERK!”
Heh, of course, maybe it just needs more time...:)
LOL. FR’s are the best.
Glad you liked it. It is one of the better films that I have seen lately. That is a cool story about Bonnie and Clyde. Definitely a piece of history. If youre looking for another Netflix film to enjoy, I saw Goodfellas is on there right now. One of the great gangster movies of all time.
Have a great weekend and stay safe my FRiend.
