We Are Beating This Virus. Keep Up the Fight!
whitehouse.gov ^ | April 10, 2020 | White House

This story first appeared in 1600 Daily, the White House’s evening newsletter. Subscribe now to get breaking news from President Trump before anyone else.

Thanks to the selflessness and patriotism of Americans who have rallied behind President Trump’s Coronavirus Guidelines, we are slowing the spread of this disease and saving many, many lives.

The President’s guidelines called for 30 days of mitigation efforts, which continue through the end of April. According to health experts, these actions are paying off.

“What we have been doing has been working,” Dr. Anthony Fauci said this week. “So the call that I say every time I get to this podium is, ‘Just keep it up,’ because this is going to get us out of it. This is our best and only great public health tool.”

When more people protect themselves and stay healthy, more space frees up in our hospitals to treat the sick. When more people socially distance themselves and follow President Trump’s guidelines, more time is bought to develop safe, effective treatments.

Keep up the fight! The more we all do now, the sooner we’ll beat this invisible enemy together.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said this week...

Trump is surrounded by traitors and morons.

Yes.
it’s working.
We, and our President, deserve credit.

I expect loosening later this week and significant ‘back to work’ by the end of the month.

There’s nothing more Fauci can do to sidetrack Pres. Trump.

He knows POTUS has his eye on him, and Fauci can’t undo the fact that he himself said on Jan. 29 that this virus was not a threat to Americans.

All we have to do is wait. The Enemedia can’t continue to attack without a massive backlash.

And next month, the Durham grand jury will do its job. The Deep State is running out of ammo fast. They will have to pivot to replacing Idiot Joe as the candidate. Expect a few more compromising leaks that will sink Bidet for good before the Rat convention.

We rode this far, we might as well wait until May. Just to make sure.

I say, either declare Victory - and get on with life; or concede defeat - and get on with life.

Enough of this ‘wrap yourself in bubble wrap, and hide under your bed, existence’.

Keep respectable distances from people out there. Get our business done. Don’t stand in other people’s way, and don’t stand around babbling in public places. What’s so hard about that?

Looks like we’re having some extended cool weather. Maybe it will warm up soon.

The second wave will just come in fall/winter. In that case, we might as well as get it over with now.

I would definitely prefer the be sick now, while I can sit in the sun and recuperate. The fall is the best time outdoors, so I would like to be well then.

“Don’t stand around babbling in public places” Obviously you’re not from the south.

Its a rolling loosening. Some regions may be ready now. These will become lessons for subsequent regions. Each step monitored, and responses readied.

IN all of these, the vulnerable high risk people should be protected (A REMINDER - on the other side it will be time to EXPECT Americans to get in really good condition).

This whole thing has been overreacted to on a MASSIVE scale.

The only difference between getting this thing slowly going with a gradual rolling into larger regions soon is: that we can have a disease with some number of deaths NOW - OR wait months and wind up with no economy with some number of deaths THEN.

I think it’s easier to be sick during the summer because we have all the sunlight and that gives us vitamin D plus it’s hot and humid outside which makes it easier on our lungs than when it’s cold and dry during the winter.
