We could have ended CV forever if the world had shut down for 21 days. Zero people out from stay home except healthcare workers, cops and a skeletal crew for utilities. And those workers live at work. But, nooooo. Humans are whiny little entitled wimps.

Whaaa, I have to have a new nail polish from Wallyworld and I have to drag our six kids with me!

Whaaa, I have to go get my morning Starbucks!

Whaaa, I have to get a new box of crayons for the kids despite the fact they already have 4 shoe boxes full of crayons!

Whaaa, I just have to bring the grandkids over and arrange play dates for them!

Whaa, I have to have a Big Mac!

Whaa, I have to make a beer/milk run!

Whaa, I have to have my lawn mowed every week by the yard crew!

Whaaa, I have to bring in a work crew to build that cabana I’ve been wanting for the past 20 years!

Whaa, I simply can’t stay home for 21 days so I’m going to meet up with 20 of my buddies at a tourist location and spread CV there!

And I refuse to wear a mask or gloves because I gots muh Rights!

Human intelligence, as a whole, is greatly overrated...

I didnt watch the whole thing..just his synopsis.
I dont disagree with him that people are deficient and when deficient it can cause problems...and I dont have a problem with a hammering when you are deficient. I am on a 8 week hammer right now. I have noticed a difference in knee problems when my tests have come back low...like less than 20.

That is a separate issue than one where you are about to suffer organ failure and are in the middle cytokine storm

general questions

1. how did the US suddenly get to 32K? Was this the re-classification of previous deaths

2. 23K deaths are in 5 states - with NYS at 15.6K, and NJ at 3.1K. this might indicate that we can open up some states -

this is one of the writes ups for the tex ags Dr to try to explain issues with Vitamin D. there are opposite sides to the argument. You have to figure out what is best for you. I have seen the cytokine storm take hold. It is shocking how fast it can kill you.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is known to enhance the function of immune cells, including T-cells and macro****es, that protect your body against pathogens In fact studies show that vitamin D enhances your immune system and helps protect you from many respiratory diseases. In fact low vitamin D levels are associated with an increased risk of respiratory diseases, like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma viral and bacterial bronchitis as well as upper respiratory infections.

Vitamin D causes activation of key innate immune cells such as monocytes, macro****es, and neutrophils leading to enhanced chemotactic, ****ocytic, and bactericidal activities. Those with stronger innate immune systems are believed to be a reason why some people have only mild symptoms when infected with COVID-19.

So vitamin D has been shown to help prevent infections and enhance our innate immune system but in doing so it also enhances cytokines particularly IL-6 and TNFa which are both used in the cytokine storm during serious disease. So while I think it may help us from initially getting sick it should be stopped immediately if you become ill because we don’t want anything that may enhance the cytokine storm. So I think if you are deficient in vitamin D you should supplement it for sure, as we know low levels are definitely a risk factor for respiratory infections. If you are not deficient in vitamin D use it with caution and stop it at the first sign of illness.”

I realize that, and acknowledge I know nothing about the issue. I do need to research this new aspect you've enlightened me to.

Amazing. I’m sure screening of visitors was not done elsewhere. Who cares?

as with so many things in medicine..you will find all sides to the issue

hard to come to a conclusion when trying to think of dealing with a wacky virus that could be a bioweapon experiment

Good point.
I’ll add that 0.1% may be statistically insignificant.
But it ls still deaths -that are not insignificant.
