Covered in yellow tarps and wheeled into an ambulance, two coronavirus-positive great-grandparents said goodbye to their family last month and headed to the hospital — on one condition.
Dolores said her and her husband Louis Amen never expected to get the virus, because they don’t often leave the house.
“I’ll only go to the hospital if we can have room together,” said survivor Dolores Amen. She said her and her husband Louis Amen never expected to get the virus, because they don’t often leave the house.
“When I saw them drive away in the ambulance wrapped like that, I thought I might never see them again,” said their daughter Mary Amen. “I thought that might be it.”
But after just a few days, both of them were well enough to leave the hospital. They credit their son, famed psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen, with saving their lives.
He was able to get them both tested for COVID-19 and prescribed hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, which they took before they even left for the hospital.
“It worked for me, that’s all I can tell you,” Dolores said.
Their daughter thinks the drugs are what saved their lives.
“I believe that them getting the hydroxychloroquine in combination with azithromycin early on in the disease is what prevented them from going over the point of no return,” Mary said.

Another confirmation. This couple is lucky they did not have a Dem governor who did not want them to be able get HCQ. Some of the democrat governors are much more interested in how much it helps them if people die.

I just watched a local ABC news broadcast here in New York City about a local man who had corona virus. He was near death when the hospital asked his wife if they wanted to try an experimental drug. She said yes. He had a miraculous recovery. The reporter kept calling it “the experimental drug”. They wouldn’t say the name of the drug. It’s ridiculous and not the first story I’ve seen on local tv where they won’t say what the drug is. I don’t know if it was hydroxychloroquine but it has to be intentional. This is criminal.

I don’t know why this is even and arguement. The right proves it works and the left lies that it doesn’t. All Trump needs to do is make an EO denying the left Trump Drugs. A little past history being reported might be helpful
as to how this elderly couple contracted the virus.
Was it from a visitor, did they make a trip to the
store, did the old man lick his mailbox? It would be
benificial to others. The media never reports the
probable sources of contraction.

Notice there is zero mention of HCQ being “touted” by Pres. Trump in this story. His name only appears in the negative articles about HCQ.
98% of people survive this. I am pretty sure it doesn’t matter what you give them. But, if this helps speed it up...great.
