R U sure the pic is from the Wuhan level 4 containment lab? If so her PPE is all wrong if she is handling level 3 or level 4 frozen samples. Most biological samples are stored in Vapor phase LN2 not in a -80C freezer.
To be fair I don’t believe that seal was ever designed to keep any biological elements from escaping. It is only a refrigeration seal. The vile themselves would contain the seals that mattered. I agree with the idea that photo is probably not even from the level 4 lab because of what she is wearing. If it is from a level 4 containment area then God help us all.
If in fact the picture show the inside of a facility storing hazardous virus samples the lack of an appropriate mask shows exactly the kind of mistake that leads to infection of a lab worker and subsequent escape from containment for the virus.
