I am assuming that these parents have it in their minds that they “can’t do it” and they do not have the discipline to devote the time and commitment into homeschooling.
It can be done but I have to wonder if these parents who say they can’t do it are the snowflakes who believe it takes a village and mom and dad are not part of the teaching process as they want someone else to do it.
And that’s what this is, propaganda. It’ll never work. You can’t do it. The kids will suffer.

Are all parent cut out to homeschool? Obviously not, but why not put out articles of encouragement and put out ideas on how to make it work. Be aspirational rather than defeatist. Now if they were talking about global warming it would all be cheery talk about we MUST do something.
Well considering how much of the day at school is padded with piffle or worse I doubt very much these children will lose much by their parents simply ending the school sponsored lessons early.
I wonder how much of this supposed parental angst is caused by the parents themselves trying to keep Little Johnny ahead of his peers - or by parents in general trying to keep up with the latest curriculum that puts more emphasis on social engineering than the 3R’s.
