Just so I can understand, what does sent back to nursing homes mean? Were these residents who were released from nursing homes, contracted the virus and then were ordered back to the nursing home?

In my understanding, it is all patients with active COVID infections that no longer, or didn’t, require ICU access.

That means 12 year olds would go to the nursing home with COVID for the level of care a nursing home can provide, to infect all the elderly who were otherwise quarantined away from all COVID people because they were at extreme risk.

It’s a slaughter of the most vulnerable by Democrats.

From the letter:

We are deeply concerned with the recent New York State order, which states:
“No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the NH solely based on
a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19. NHs are prohibited from
requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested
for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.”
