If she demands a speedy trial by jury, the charges will be dismissed. There’s no way the courts can empanel. a jury on a non violent misdemeanor. Probably not for the next year. Violent felonies take precedence. With a stay at home order in effect no jury can be empaneled right now.
The police are acting stupidly.
You got to know when to fold ‘em.
And if you get your car stolen in SF, they want you to call 311 rather than file a police report.

Congress didn’t make any law of this kind.
This is wrong.
Where do we see the authority to make these “laws” (which are not “laws”, as they have not been voted on by legislatures)?
Possibly something in the state constitutions that enables emergency powers. If you think about it, there would have to be something like that, for when there is no time to get a legislature to vote on it.
