Meat demand has not fallen, only restaurant demand for meat. There is no reason for a supply chain issue. I’m forced to be grilling steaks and ribs more often myself these days, but my meat intake has not changed.
There are serious supply chain issues with meat. Mostly pork though. The large packing plants in the Midwest have had several shutdowns causing considerable delays. Maybe more one hundred thousand hogs could be dispatched by farmers.
Chickens are next.
