80% ground beef, on sale $1.99, now lucky to get it for $3.99.
Everything here has gone up a buck a pound and I don’t see no dayum filet mignons. Of course restaurants around here consist of burger joints and convenient stores that have pizza and sandwiches. That and a few mom and pop places, none of which are fancy.
Of our three grocery stores, one’s not doing a weekly ad and the other two have gone from several pages to one or two with hardly anything worth a crap on sale. Technically one still has 5 pages but 4 of them are booze. That used to be less than half a page. Good time to start a rehab center.
