Gallup has close to 50% Indian population and their immune system doesn’t appear to be able to combat the virus. Native Americans have O type blood for example

Native Americans are descended from Asians.

Because obesity and diabetes runs rampant on the reservation. Indians have a very very slow metabolism. This is the reason for their classic intolerance of whiskey and alcohol, and very high intoxication rates. They don’t burn my office fast. Same for a modern hi sugar and flour diet. So not just being obnoxious here, but Indians are absolutely overwhelmed with diabetes. The whole county is a comorbidity zone.

This part of the Southwest has had a number of illness events.

Navajo Nation does tend to keep to themselves which would isolate them from yearly flu season.

She will use the excuse that the Native American population is high there and how they are prone to getting this. Wanna bet?

When I have traveled through there, it is NOT a place I prefer to stop.

I would assume the health demographically for Native Americans is poor and immunodeficiency high due to: smoking,drinking,poor diet and disease such as cancer,diabetes,TB.etc. I also suspect social distancing was not taken seriously in a very social group.

Without getting into some debate,I think what has been done to them (and yes,what they themselves have done) is disgusting.
