But you’ll notice it uses “Vince” and “Foster,” not “Marcy.”
You could have searched for “cadbury Easter Eggs” equally as well.
But it leaves my original question in place.
Add Chris Ruddy, who wrote all the stories in the NY Post at the time.

BAYONNE — After a yearlong battle with stomach cancer, Marcy Borders — the woman known as the “Dust Lady” from the iconic photo taken of her as she escaped from the Twin Towers on Sept. 11 — has died, according to Facebook posts by multiple family members. Michael Borders, Marcy Borders’ brother, said in a Facebook post at 11:22 a.m. yesterday that he needed everyone to pray for her, before posting about 12 hours later: “I can’t believe my sister is gone.”

So, as it stands, is there no one that can show me that any article ever published on FreeRepublic ever used the word “Marcy” in either the title or the topic?
That is scary.
Did you remove the * before putting the search term in?
I’ve had poor luck with the FReeper search function. Also the activity function.
A Marcy was found. Just not the marcy you wished to find. Search feature here is like threading a needle when searching for title, user, or most anything else. Sorry couldn’t be of more help. It’s a box car derby with wooden pallets but no wheels.
