The headline is a bit disingenuous, so don’t blame Carey just yet.
It’s RuPaul who is raising the money, not Carey or the show itself. And that’s not unusual. Game shows often have celebrities on who try to earn money for their favorite charities.
So here’s the big question: Will other celebrities also be on, raising money for their charities? If so, I’ll give the show a reluctant pass.
But if it’s just RuPaul and just Planned Parenthood, the I’ll add ‘The Price Is Right’ to my personal boycott list.

According to another article, he’s the only celeb. The rest are regular people trying to win prizes for themselves. So they did choose him and his “charity” so to speak.

I looked it up. This RuPaul episode will evidently be Carey’s third ‘The Price Is Right’ celebrity evening show.
In the first one, the cast from the TV show ‘SEAL Team’ played for a veterans charity.
In the second one, Seth Rogen played for an Alzheimer’s charity.
So yeah, I’m sticking with giving Carey and the show a reluctant pass here.
