Police in Germany shared a photo from the rescue of a hungry hedgehog that got its head stuck in a discarded milkshake cup.
Bremerhaven police said officers found the hedgehog struggling to free itself from the cup in the middle of a road.
Police said the hedgehog was apparently drawn to the smell of what was left in the banana-flavored milkshake cup after it was discarded.
Officers were able to pull the cup off the animal's head and the hedgehog was released into a nearby meadow.
In America some cop would have just shot it.
Doesn’t look like Ron Jeremy...not that I would know.

A moniker that will stick always.
Poor little guy.
Winnie the Pooh syndrome strikes again.
This happens to my dachshund every once in a while. Pretty funny watching her.
If we shot litterbugs things like this wouldn’t happen. And while I’m not one hundred percent behind shooting litter bugs, I really like the idea of public floggings.
Who hasn’t had their head stuck in a milkshake cup?
Maybe the closest thing to a mask it could find

Can’t do it in Germany, the Muslims are protected. They throw their trash where they want.
Too bad they can’t rescue most of those in the media who have their head stuck in their a$$.
I once found a kitten with his head stick in a 15 oz.empty cat food can. Fortunately, he couldn’t see me so I was able to grab him and ease his head out. He ran awsy after I freed it....but first he looked at me, shook his head...
I once did the same the same thing for a skunk that had its head stuck in a Yoplait cup.
A group of hedgehogs is usually called a herd, but also an array or a prickle. But they don’t come up much, since hedgehogs are solitary creatures who usually come together only to mate.
