When did PARENTS stop feeding their children?
When schools started feeding them breakfast, lunch and summer meals. Look, they simply cannot afford to feed the kids and get their nails done..something has to give. And THAT is the taxpayer, FRiend.
Why should they when the government is there?
After all, there are lottery tickets to buy, cases of beer to buy, injectable hard drugs to buy, after having cashed in their government checks for money. That assistance was meant to buy their children some food, but that is of no consequence. There’s always Grandma.
Seriously, I once saw a woman who was old enough to have children, cash everything in government assistance and buy a folder full of scratch tickets, a carton of cigarettes and a case of beer.
