That photo was gone over with a fine tooth comb on the research threads, I can’t remember what the final outcome was. I think that the original photo might have had the Kenyan and not Stanley’s father in it, I’m pinging the one who will likely remember. I do remember that the dark hand was determined to likely be a small pocketbook/clutch purse. Or perhaps another anomaly.

FN - do I remember aright?

To anyone who wants desperately to believe that Frank Marshall Davis was ‘his’ father, that dark object will appear to have been a hand (clenched into a fist) and Stanley Ann Dunham wasn’t really there, she was added in place of the owner of ‘that hand’.

To anyone with a pair of eyes with 20/20 vision, they would see that SAD’s arm doesn’t line up with the dark object, and begs the question, who would hold a child with a clenched fist?

The boy is holding something that might have been made of leather, possibly a small bag containing some personal possessions he carried with him on the aircraft which brought him to Hawaii.

You said it yourself a long time ago. People will see what they want to see.
