California Governor Gavin Newsom on Friday signed an executive order to ensure every registered voter in the state is automatically mailed a ballot for the November presidential election. The executive order does not replace in-person voting, Newsom said during a press conference.
"Mail-in ballot is important but it's not an exclusive substitute to physical locations," Newsom said. He added that the state is still working to have "the appropriate number of physical sites for people to vote as well."
Secretary of State Alex Padilla, who's been pushing to expand vote by mail, called into Newsom's press conference and said the executive order makes California the first state in the nation to automatically send voters their ballots ahead of the general election in response to the coronavirus.

Gruesome Newsom’s head needs to be mounted on a pike at the statehouse. I hear that crows go for the eyes first.
The Pharoah spirit has come to roost in America.

Keep praying for God’s deliverance.
Gona be a lot of blank ballots floating around. You can say it’s California, and California always votes dem anyway. But the fact is there are a lot of house districts there and this almost guarantees the dems will keep the house. I hope something can be done.
California was a ‘lost cause’ even before this election....but you need to admire the landscape. After the election....thousands of court actions will occur, with law suits accusing the system of being rigged, and asking for damages. You can figure that over the next four years, more than 100 billion dollars will be dished out to settle the cases and legal costs. So in effect, they are bankrupting the state prior to the 2024 election.
We are mail in only here in Washington. Every time the Rats lose, they mysteriously find just enough missing ballots to win in recounts.
Every time.
Heres a way for cash-strapped California to save money on postage stamps. Cancel the mail-in voting. Just announce next week what the final tally of the November 2020 election will be. Theyre going to cook the books anyway. So why not save a few bucks in the process?
This Newsom a-hole is out of control. Do the Feds have anything to say about the presidential election procedures? It would be nice if all the electoral vote from California were null and void. And yes, I live in California.
I live in CA. also I dont think he can force mail in voting by EO no way!!
We still have house seats that were STOLEN in 2018 due to ballot harvesting!! They are trying to steal the special election in the 26th district the pubbie Mike Garcia is way ahead this is the seat that the gal was into 3 ways and posted on FB!!
The spiritual justice is on the earth.
I dunno
Methinks the demoncraps are fearing that theyre losing the battle of ideas
And theyre getting visually desperate. Grasping at straws
If they lose the people. Cheating or not. Theyre DONE FOR !
we know cankles cheated wholesale. But it wasnt enough.
Were in charge now. Of elections DOJ. ETC
The headline is misleading. The text says it does not replace in-person voting. I assume we will still have polling places to go to in November. We had better still have them.
If California seats In Congress were ignored, it would be a Republican House. California all by itself steals enough seats so that it can steal the House. This is not just a local issue.
I sure hope you’re right, but I don’t trust California Rats. They are so entrenched, it might be a lost cause. Hanging is too good for them.
There needs to be some federal voting rights lawsuits. This has to violate all kinds of voting rights and election security laws.
Bull$hit - this is being pushed by Soros and his open borders society.
